Launched in 2023, Coachtopia products come with a Digital ID (developed by EON), including a QR code or NFC tag that customers can scan with their smartphone to access product details and resale options.
With this partnership, products are automatically uploaded to Poshmark complete with product images, descriptions, and details, for easy resale.
Zooming in: By scanning digital IDs, both the original and secondhand owners of products can access product details and engage with Coach, potentially earning loyalty rewards or accessing services.
Resale Data: Coach collects data on how customers interact with their products (e.g., rewards, resale, repairs), providing insights into resale behavior and secondary markets.
Poshmark Growth: The partnership aims to attract more users to Poshmark, where Coach is already one of the most popular brands with over 16M followers.
The big picture: Circular economy is being promoted widely by brands. With this partnership, Coach has enabled easy instant reselling while fostering brand loyalty and encouraging repeat purchases among consumers.
Be smart: Digital product passports (DPPs) are becoming mandatory in the EU by 2027, requiring detailed information on product materials and origin.
Brands like Chloé and luxury consortiums such as LVMH, Prada Group, and Richemont are also adopting digital ID technology through platforms like the Aura Blockchain Consortium.
What’s next: Coach plans to expand these digital passport services across all of its products in the future, further integrating sustainability into their product lifecycle.

Google Cloud and Solana Labs have partnered to push Web3 gaming forward with GameShift, now available on Google Cloud Marketplace.
Why it matters: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has 1M+ customers, making it the second-largest cloud provider by customer base size.
Be smart: Gameshift could allow corporates to tap into the booming Web3 gaming market in a much more cost efficient way.
Integrated into Solana Mobile, this could open up a massive audience for Web3 gaming.
Google Cloud’s Web3 Ecosystem:
Includes Blockchain Node Engine, Web3 BigQuery datasets, and Web3 for Startups program.
Provides infrastructure for game studios to use BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI for player insights, blockchain event data, and generative AI.
Stepping back: By 2025, over 70% of enterprise software is predicted to be procured through cloud marketplaces, indicating a significant shift towards cloud-based software within organizations.
Zooming in: GameShift simplifies blockchain integration for game developers, offering tools like wallets, game asset management, pay-in/pay-out systems, reward programs, and on-chain markets without needing blockchain expertise.
Punchline: Web3 gaming is one step closer to going mainstream.
